Is the Acu-Rite temp/humidity gauge safe to keep in gecko enclosure?
So I figured out the humidity is read from the gauge, not the sensor. I have seen people put it in their tanks so I'm wondering if it's safe for that use if someone has used it for reptiles that require humidity? I plan on putting velcro on the back of it and putting it in the tank on the side that isn't sprayed by my habba misting system. So chances of it getting wet are minimal. Can't say my gecko won't climb on it
As i said ounce before,they are great! I use em on all my enclosures and have had no problems.
Justy type in whats best hygrometer or Is the Acu-Rite temp/humidity gauge safe on google,an i gurantee you will hear nothing bad.

I personally trust them more than reptile made thermometers and hygrometers
If you have concerns of your gecko messing with it too much(which even if he does,no harm can really come,the thing is bigger than your gecko and weighs as much as a feather) you can also mount it on the outside of the enclosure.Just follow these steps,
