Auto-Darkening welding helmet is not obscured by overall picture?
I just got a new auto darkening helmet and when I look to lighbulbs and what not, that does not darken the entire screen. I can still see through the corners. Is it because the bulb is not as bright as an arc or what or just a quarter of shit? (I have it off ebay for $ 50 new)
Well it's a crap shoot buying that stuff off E-bay. I bought a load of port tools for $ 25 New ..... There is a large, but it works well. Anyway to answer your question, I would go outside and look at the sun with the helment and see if it darkens. In addition, some helments have a small button near the lens inside. You have to push the button to get the helment to work. Is for battery conservation. Thanks, hope that helps .....
