If solid cobalt drills or fair deal?
titanium pieces are coated, so if you grind is not as good as new. If the bits cobalt same way, or made of a homogeneous substance instead of being coated. I want some good metal drill bits, but I will not invest in cobalt if I can not sharpen them w / a Drill Doctor. Please give a reference, if possible, and any personal experience w / good parts. Well until now I have a response either way, but also a source for corroboration. At least I get some information from another well. Drill Doctor can not be optimal, but I do not see myself trying refine small pieces by hand with a grinder.
Cobalt exercises are not covered. They keep their hardness and everything can be resharpened without loss hardness. Stay away from imports. I found that the best cobalt drill bits are SA Cleveland rotation exercises. Besides, I'm not a big fan of the Drill Doctor. With a little practice you can achieve better results sharpening by hand on a bench grinder.
