YES! Every recount showed him to be the winner. Even after the issue was decided, the New York Times and other Democratic friendly newspapers kept counting, using Al Gore's method and Bush still came out ahead.
I don't know how long the Dems will cry over this. They should look in the mirror as to why they lost. Al Gore was the sitting VP of a fairly popular president with a decent economy and fumbled the whole thing when he should've won big.
The election should never have been close enough for Florida to matter.
