how to apply clip art onto a color background in InDesign?
More often than not, I end up with a clip art with a bounding box or "frame" around it and I can't get rid of the white around the clip art.
Is there a way to get rid of that "white" in InDesign?
I meant: "when I import the clip art" Thanks a lot!
I am not sure about the "high performance" but the box appears from the moment that I put it on any object or writing, for that matter. It does not let me wrap the type around it. When I imported the clip art.
Have you got the view option on high performance? Does the white box appear if you print it out?
Assuming the answer to both is yes, then you need to draw a path around the clip art and use that as a clipping path. You might be able to work around by using the overlay mode (nb this can affect whatever is beneath the image box).
