Make a bar and hooking up kegerator?
I am building a bar in my basement. I want to install a kegerator to fit full size kegs. But the only fridge I have is a full size one and wont fit under the counter. I have a closet behind the bar. The wall the counter is connected too is connected to that closet. What I'm thinking of doing is putting the fridge in the closet and cut a hole in the wall and fridge. Put a piece of roughly 4" diameter PVC pipe through the wall and silicone it to the fridge. I would then run the lines through the pvc and up to the Chrome tower tap I would have mounted on the counter. I would insulate the pipe really well. The pipe would be about 5-6 feet coming out of the side of the fridge. My only concern about this is that the beer will be warm from sitting in the pipe. Any input would be greatly appriciated
