Questions about the classification of early rising in the Army?
"I can join the Army as an E-4 with MOS as a welder if I have state certification in welding and 100 credits for college? (I have an Associate degree in Automotive Technology and a one-year certificate course in Welding of my school.) I am also an Eagle Scout as well. I used the term "classification" for lack of a better term. It was not my intention offend anyone.
It seems ArmyChemo know what you're talking about. When I joined I went to BCT / AIT as E4 cherry because I have a BBA, Marketing. I've heard (not might be true) that if at least 60 credit hours from an accredited university, you can register as a CPR, but check with a recruiter in this case. I would advise you join as an E3 E4 is not. I am telling u from personal experience. For example, an officer who sees you say to take charge of a platoon formation. The assumed that because you're a little E4 know what they're doing (while currently has the exact same amount of knowledge of the Army as E1, without offending brother.) Then you say: "Sergeant, I do not know how to take charge of training, which will do you explain why you are a E4, but can not take a simple training squad. In addition, the pay is not very different from E3 E4. Good luck man! Oh, I forgot to tell you, I wouldnt try to use his Eagle Scout status as a tool to get a promotion (at least not in the ways of Infantry)
