Goodyear Eagle F1 all season, compared to Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus?
I have a Lexus IS350 RWD and live in Chicago. From what I understand Eagle F1 is a little better in the snow, more expensive tend to be more noisy and annoying wear faster than the rider AS. I have understood that both are very nice tires, however I would like a tire that has decent wear well in the snow and not crazy loud and I'm driving a Lexus in part because of his departure silent.
It appears you have not read the study testing of tires made in the Goodyear Eagle F1 web site tirerack.com. Read the test tire before you buy! The Eagle F1 is TERRIBLE on snow and ice! Inforce the Yokohama AVID (H and V) proved a little better than Michelin Pilot AS Plus in each of the twelve tests. The Goodyear Yokohama Michelin lost so miserably in each test. Look for these three individual tires on tirerack.com website. Survey Open the word in the image these tires.
