I need a small differential gear assembly precision of about 2 inches in diameter for small loads?
I like to ride trunion bearings and attach a belt pulley on the outside diameter. This device is a product that is produced in significant quantities. The cost is a problem.
You can go for a cycloidal gear profile - the kind used in wristwatches. As needed in large quantities, can be plastic (I prefer polycarbonate) with an injection die. injection equipment is expensive but you can always outsource to a vendor. You will need to invest only in the injection molding die.
