I bought this TV to replace a Panasonic 65 "Plasma TV. First let me say that I'm happy with customer service Amazon and policies, the first time I ordered the ordered error television non-3D version of it, and did not realize my mistake until after have been sent to me. However, Amazon procurement policies of television made it possible for me to cancel the order and receive a full refund! With regard to television itself is concerned, the main drawback I found is that the relative obscurity compared with the plasma TV to replace. I felt it necessary to use only this TV in a darkened room to really appreciate it. The other problems I found were: 1) The TV was completely dead during installation original and although I was using professional installers they took an hour to play with him trying to get a picture, before calling customer service Mitsubishi who advised them to turn off the TV, wait a minute or two, and plug THN again to allow the internal computer is restarted. Secondly, I am using the TV a Sony PS3 as 3D input, and after plugging everything in, I was unable to get a 3D image. When I called Mitsubishi, which he said was necessary to return to the PS3 Sony for a firmware update. This was not true. After reading comments from 3D TVs that are only needed to correctly configure Display Properties settings on the Playstation menu. Once all this was done, I found the overall experience is quite impressive both Blu-Ray 3D movies and 3D Avatar Game. I'm using Mitsubishi shutter glasses and the overall experience is much better than the red / blue glasses that are polarized or showrooms in 3D movie. I recommend this TV if you want the size and are able to darken the room being used in. I've never seen a 3D plasma set, so I can not comment on whether its 3D is as impressive as in this series.
