What type of engines used CNC milling metal?
What kind of engines make great use metal CNC milling machines? Be operating at very high speeds, but what kind of horsepower it from? A regular motor router (2-3hp) to the steel mill?
A typical mill CNC Spindle uses an electric motor of 30.8 about horsepower, depending on the size of the machine. An engine of 3.2 horsepower could mill steel ( proper tool, of course), but would move more slowly, and have more clear cut. machine rigidity (stiffness) is also very important in CNC milling. If the factory is not stiff enough, the machine and / or part will vibrate and make the tool or part damage.
