How I can get a serge or overlock sewing machine to start sewing right?

I have a Babylock EA-605 without user manual. I found to insert some instructions online and I'm pretty sure it is properly inserted. I'm using 4-wire configuration. I stray by hand and has the threads to start blocking and looks good, but then I started to pedal and everything fell apart and neither the line nor the overlock stich worked more. Now I can not remember how I got starting block in the first place. Does anyone know about this? I'm supposed to be pulling the tail of thread at the start, or no stress at all?
