How can disarm a after market alarm system on a 97 concorde?
Ok, I have spent all day installing a new lock cylinder because I did not get a key to unlock the door when I bought this car. Tried disconnecting any added on wire to the battery. Tried disconnecting both positive and negative terminals. No luck. I cannot find where the alarm system is. There is no toggle SWITCH to be found
it should have a control box wired in under the dash on drivers side, it may have a simple fuse you can remove or wire you can unplug, most alarms are actually just an electronic switch that allows power to travel from key switch to starter, it cuts the starter wire under the dash, and is installed between where the wire is cut, so if you unplug it and it does not let the starter work, then you will need to reconnect the starter wires back together where they cut it to install alarm,
