2005 Chrysler Sebring Clunk when applying the brakes?
I have a noise in the initial push of the brake pedal and then not have another up to speed and then if I hit the brake again. If I hit the brakes twice I only get the clunk once in the first impulse. Sounds like you're in the driver's side. Ball joints, bearings, and tie rod ends are good insulators all look good, brakes are newer. Is it possible that the clip was poured on the slides? They look good, but I'm leaving no ideas. In fact, I found that the motor is mounted and are in good shape.
My guess is that you have a broken engine mount or loose or perhaps could be the hub in the motor mount.
