Is it absolutely necessary to waterproof epoxy a pot of thick plywood and I do the bottom, flat?
My plan is to build a plywood boat and buy plans.But wondered about the thickness of the plywood and I can just use regular plywood (Outdoor type) instead of marine plywood.And I have to steam bending plywood in the shape of the sides and the bottom is flat? I think that incorporate the ribs in the seats to reduce the amount of wood use.I plan to use a thicker wood, probably boards or solid wood for transom.Also not know if worth using epoxy for waterproofing boat.I now plans to use galvanized, stainless steel, bronze, brass or screws.
