What is the minimum size of cutter that can be used with a small CNC routing / engraving table?
I thinking of buying a router table CNC (maximum cutting material size is 1200mm x 800mm x 90mm). The website shows the blade holder specfications are 3.175 mm, 4 mm and 6 mm. Does this mean that the minimum size of strawberries can be used with this machine is 3.175? Basically, I want to cut straight narrow slits in a sheet of MDF and need to be as closely as possible. Does this mean that this machine can not cut the grooves narrower than 3.175 mm? Finally, the MDF would sheet thickness of 30 mm. If the machine was the router / burn completely through the sheet for example, at a depth of 30 mm, cut to be straight and clean with no tool marks on the sides cut the MDF? A little router with a thickness of 3.175 struggle to do this?
The owner of specs refer to the size of the "cane" of the bits you use. Typically, you can find almost any size "cut" of bits you want, at different body sizes. What physically resemble to you, is the rod will be larger than the blade .... This is actually quite other things. Common to consider when buying bits .... spiral cutters or knives double spiral to prevent the chip area. Something to keep in mind if they will be using products melamine -.
