What kind of solder, solder flux should I use when joining copperwire that is gold colored? I am new to solder
I am new to soldering. And I need to join a rectangular shape securely. I plan to wire wrap the shape with 24 gauge gold colored wire and also have 5 to six beads arranged in the middle of the rectangular shape which is going to be a pendant.
Can you please tell me the best way to join the 18 gauge wire, I need to know what supplies I need as far as the best solder and solder flux as well as should I use a pencil torch or a pencil tip soldering iron. I have both.

If the wire you are soldering is gold-plated copper, you need to use a solder that will melt long before the wire. Copper melts at 1084.62 °C, 1984.32 °F.
Don't use solder containing lead -- it's toxic -- use lead-free solder.
There are two kinds of solder: hard and soft. Soft solders can be used with an iron but hard solders will require the use of a small torch; i.e., you will actually be brazing.
It sounds like you need the solder to be gold colored but all soft solders are silver colored so you will need hard solder. You can get 1265ºF hard gold solder in a paste mixed with flux -- see link below.
PS: try it first on some test wire to practice your technique. Soldering will be much easier if you can wrap the wire or insert in in a hole so it doesn't move while you are soldering it.
