HEY WELDERS! I need advice on buying a Jackson NexGen welding helmet for my husband Boilermaker Local 83.?
He referred to him as a "Jackson NexGen speed Auto Glass darkening welding helmet. "I found several Jackson NexGen auto darkening helmets, but what do you mean by" speed glass? "Cheapest place to buy would also be useful as well. Need also carry bag or other accessory this? Help me here ... I do not know much about these ... but I really want to do this. I know you arn't cheap but worth it! ok .. if two different companies amybe related to any of them. It's a pipe welder ... what guides me is the best or what you need. I'm looking for online in a wide variaty.
Sounds like you want to surprise. If TIG is likely that he would go with the 3m Speedglas (if correct spelling) hood. It is, in my opinion the best hood in the market. They were the first to make auto darkening hood. It has the best response time. They are not cheap and it really depends on what kind you want as for the cost. Take special transparent lens cover (slightly annoying) the dosn't Jackson. I'd say you get him a bell that has a variable color selection about 8 to a shadow 14. Not that it is a single fixed screen would be disappointed, not so that every time the bell of your choice. Look around at a price I've seen all price ranges. Even on eBay, but you can get cheaper than eBay by shopping around. I used Speedglas for 25 years and has three chapels. Yes, all the work including the first. Why all this possible? Due to updates, bells best viewing area larger version and so on. Hope this helps.
